Pricing Factors

What Affects the Cost of a Wrap?

Vehicle Size & Body Shape

Deep curves, big bumpers and complex trims add hours.

Vinyl or Colour PPF

Avery Dennison vinyl is the standard colour-change option. Colour PPF costs more but adds stone-chip protection.

Finish

Gloss, satin and matte are standard. Colour-shift, textured and chrome films cost more.

Door Jambs & Inner Edges

Wrapping the shuts gives a more paint-like result, but it's a significant extra.

Wrap vs Respray

A wrap usually costs less than a quality respray, it's reversible, and it protects the original paint underneath, which helps resale value. A respray is permanent. A wrap also gives you finishes like satin, matte and colour-shift that are expensive or impossible in paint.

Wrap Quality Respray
Cost Usually less Usually more
Reversible Yes No, permanent
Original paint Protected underneath Replaced
Satin, matte, colour-shift Available Expensive or impossible

For extra protection on a wrapped car, choose colour PPF instead of vinyl, or add a ceramic coating.

FAQs

Car Wrap Cost FAQs

What vinyl do you use?

We use Avery Dennison wrap vinyl.

Will a wrap damage my paint?

No. When professionally installed on factory paint in good condition, a vinyl wrap doesn't damage the paint and comes off cleanly.

Can you wrap vans, utes and motorcycles?

Yes. We wrap cars, trucks, SUVs, vans and motorcycles.

Important Information

  • All prices are starting prices in Australian dollars, include GST, and are a guide only. Your final price depends on your vehicle's size and body shape, vinyl or colour PPF, the finish you choose and door jambs, and is confirmed in a written quote after inspection.
  • Premium finishes such as chrome and colour-shift, and wrapping door jambs and inner edges, are quoted separately.
  • Colours can look different on screen than on the actual film.
  • A vinyl wrap is not stone-chip protection. If you want chip protection with a new colour, choose colour PPF.
  • Clean removal assumes factory paint in good condition. Resprayed, repaired or already damaged paint can lift when a wrap is removed.
